Ordinary spice jars - which we all use almost every day - aren't that pretty to have on the kitchen counter. With a nice spice box, you can always have the spice jars close at hand. Neat too - putting the olive oil, vinegar and fresh herbs in the drawer. Other boxes can be used for glass cut flowers, potted plants, cutlery, napkins, etc. - all types of wooden boxes add a homely touch.
